Hi friends!
How the heck we ended up starting 2025 and already starting the second month of the year?!?
I’m writing down this while I’m in Greece and winter it’s being sooo mild here! So I’m a happy girl!
In two days we will be heading up to Johannesburg where is full summer there, needing my dose of vitamin D laying in the sun.
Spain with family and friends
I came back to Madrid specifically to spent time with my family and friends. Since I left Spain 2 years ago, I don’t really like to miss this special dates.
We’ve spent Christmas and New Year’s at my moms, and my brother and his family came also (little nephews included).
After eating a looott, I stayed some days at my sister place and catch up on work. Is really nice to work next to someone from time to time!
Thease days at my sister’s, we ordered pizza, eat in bed and watch some Modern Family 🙂
Went for lunch with dad and nephews, and bowling and coffee with my friends Vittorio, Enoema, Lola and Balooki.
Budapest and Berlin trip with friends
After eating a looott, it’s time to travel againg!
Spent 2 days in Budapest and 2 days in Berlin with a couple of my greek friends, Ilouna and Tomi.
Was a really nice trip about eating, walking in the freezing winter and visiting the famous thermal baths in Budapest, also enjoyed a lot a coffee at the “New York Cafe”, live piano and violin music, my favorite kinf of coffee place.
In Berlin my friend were sick so I ended up spending the first morning by myself strolling around and taking pictures, also visited the Old History Museum.
At night we meet a common friend and we went all for dinner to a local german place. I have a nice Schnitzel!
Berlin is packed with history, and was freezing! The streets are wide and the buildings are huge in the city centre.
After our 2 days in Budapest we went to the airport to take a 1h and 30min flight to Berlin. Our flight was delayed for like an hour but we made it finally!
This was good for me actually because I could get some work done by then.
Family time - Doha
Back to the airport again! My friends went back to Budapest (to flight back to Greece in 2 days) and I’m flying to Doha to stay there with my brother and his family.
Every time I get the chance to fly in Bussiness Class, I love to order a cup of coffee with this delicious oat cookies 🙂
Spent 5 beautiful days there. Weather was a bit chilly (even in the dessert), but I could get into some routine, catch up on some work, took my nephews to school some days, went to sauna and gym.
Playing with the kids and having mate with my brother are two of the things I really appreciate when I’m there.
They will be moving to a bigger house on March 2025, so next time I’ll come visit will be in a different place, so excited!
Doha has actually a nice skyline! Usually you can feel some dust particles in the air coming from the dessert, but this time was humidity.
2 weeks in Athens with bf
Travel time again! Now to Greece for 2 weeks. Spent the first week at home because my boyfriend was sick, so catched up on work!
During this time, we could actually felt one of the little earthquake that next week (we were already in Joburg) were increasing so much, people from Santorini had to evacuate the island.
Weekend ski at Arachova
The second week was more about going for coffee, lukumades, night out dinners, and we also did a little weekend trip inside this trip to a beautiful village in mainland Greece, the village of Arachova.
A cute little place up in the mountains where we got the chance to ski for one day at Paranssos 🙂 my second time skiing and I really enjoyed it!!
Back to Johannesburg
And this is how my Janaury 2025 ends, 5 countries in one month.
The 31st of Jan we took a plane to Johannesburg, so next month will be all about that, and getting finally back into routine again!
